DESCRIPTION:Showing your working out \nWe will address different types of calculations and different ways to do these and write them down. \nChecking your calculations\, fractions\, decimals and money \nThis includes checking with a calculator\, a piece of paper or approximating. \nYou’ll also work with fractions\, decimals and money. \nMeasures and Shapes \nThis includes metric length\, weight\, capacity\, temperature and time. \nWe’ll also work with 2D and 3D shapes. \nTables and charts \nHow to understand and draw charts and tables that show information. \nReal life problems (Maths ones!) \nYour Maths exam will be during the last week \nYou will do practice exams and work through these with your tutor. Don’t worry about it! We would only ask you to do an exam if we think you can pass! \nFunctional Skills Maths from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3. \nDelivered in partnership with Middlesbrough College. \nBook in! \n

DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the previous Benefit Entitlement campaign\, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau will once again be conducting appointments at The Hope Foundation. \nWhen Citizens Advice came in May\, 27 Hope Foundation learners had appointments and a potential £62 837.39 of unclaimed benefits was identified in just 2 weeks. \nOne to one appointments are available at The Hope Foundation in November – appointments can be booked through https://hopecv.youcanbook.me. \n
