DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the previous Benefit Entitlement campaign\, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau will once again be conducting appointments at The Hope Foundation. \nWhen Citizens Advice came in May\, 27 Hope Foundation learners had appointments and a potential £62 837.39 of unclaimed benefits was identified in just 2 weeks. \nOne to one appointments are available at The Hope Foundation in November – appointments can be booked through https://hopecv.youcanbook.me. \n  \n

You’ll learn how to fill in forms\, make plans and drafts and write letters. \nYou will do a practice test and your tutor will mark this and give you feedback. \n Reading \nYou will do workshops\, activities and online learning to improve your reading skills. \nWe’ll learn about different types of text\, recognising facts and opinions and reading techniques. \nYou will do a practice test. Your tutor will mark it and give you feedback. \nSpeaking and Listening \nThe shortest assessment and the only one you do with classmates! \nWe’ll plan a discussion and then talk to each other!\nFunctional Skills English from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3. \nDelivered in partnership with Middlesbrough College. \n
